Kimberly Gaugler is the City Auditor for the City of Beach, ND. In April 1994, she started employment with the City of Beach as the Deputy Auditor. Shortly thereafter, the City Auditor position was vacated and Kimberly was promoted to City Auditor and Zoning Administrator. Twenty-six years later, she still immensely enjoys working for the public and tackling the daily challenges that are encountered with city government.

Kimberly originally grew up on a dairy farm in Medford, Wisconsin. During junior high and high school years, summertime was spent with relatives who lived in Beach, ND. She fell in love with the dynamic little town which has now been her home for more than 30 years.

During employment with the City of Beach, Kimberly has had the opportunity to be Past President of the Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, Prairie West Development Foundation, Municipal Finance Officers Association of ND, North Dakota League of Cities, SW Rural Economic Area Partnership (SW REAP) and REAP Investment Board (RIB). Currently, she serves as Board President of Beach School District and Communications Director for Rural Leadership North Dakota Alumni Association.

Gaugler’s commitment and passion for her community has resulted in her receiving several recognitions; Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Employee of the Year, North Dakota League of Cities Outstanding Employee of the Year, Greater North Dakota Chamber Community Leadership Award, Beach School District Superintendent Award, and the Municipal Government Academy Leadership Achievement Award.

Kimberly strongly supports the arts within her community and surrounding area. She recognizes the arts can bring communities together, reduce isolation, improve quality of life and inspire people to take pride in their surroundings for all to enjoy.

Kimberly and her husband Brandt enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping but most of all spending time with their children and grandchildren.
