Joining the NDCA team in October 2019, Rhea Beto has over twenty-five years of experience working in communications and many of those years including an accessibility component. With a focus on the field of speech communication, Rhea received an Associate of Arts from Bismarck State College and a Bachelor of Arts from Moorhead State University (now MSUM). She went on to earn her Master of Arts in Communication from North Dakota State University.
Her knowledge, experience, and passion for creative expression led her to take a job for North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA) as the Public Information Officer and Accessibility Coordinator. Rhea manages a grant program; designs publications and social media posts; produces the electronic newsletter and press releases; manages NDCA's website; and is the designated accessibility/ADA, COSE, and health & wellness coordinator for the office.
Rhea is a North Dakota girl through and through; living, learning, working and enjoying the beautiful outdoors in the state since 3rd grade. She lives in Bismarck with her husband, and has two daughters and a black Cockapoo.
