North Dakota State Hospital - Jamestown, ND - Advanced Clinical SpecialistAs an Advanced Clinical Specialist, you will provide specialized therapy to individuals who must participate in the Sex Offender Treatment and Evaluation Program (SOTEP) at the North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH). You will assist in creating individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will provide individual and group therapy to the individuals in the Sex Offender Treatment and Evaluation Program. You will assist in providing staff training initiatives as needed. To thrive in this position, you need to be committed to rehabilitation and professional development using a person-centered philosophy.To be considered for this position, you must have a master's degree in social work, Counseling, or any other master's degree approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners, and licensure as a LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor); OR a Doctorate in Psychology and licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor at a lower rate of Pay: Human Relations Counselors must have master's degrees in counseling and LAPC licensure, as well as be within two years of LPCC licensure. Details regarding licensure status and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application; OR a master's degree in social work and LMSW licensure; OR a master's degree in Counseling and LPC licensure About Us:The North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), located in Jamestown, is a specialized psychiatric hospital that serves the whole state.
