ALL ARE INVITED to attend Community Receptions to learn more about the Arts Across the Prairie project ENDLESS SKY - DYNAMIC LAYERS underway in Region 4.

Community Reception Region 4

  • Region 4 installation artist James Peterson (right)
  • Glacier expert Jaakko Putkonen, Associate Professor, UND College of Engineering and Mines
    • Jaakko Putkonen has spent his career on field expeditions studying the landscapes and changing climate in extreme environments including Arctic, Antarctica, high Himalaya, and deserts of the SW US. He is currently working on an ice core that his research group drilled in Antarctica which is believed to be one of the oldest ice surviving on Earth.
