Career Description
The Human Resources Intern will assist the Human Resources Business Partner, Learning & Development Coordinator, and the Human Resources Director with day-to-day HR operations. The variety of functions the intern will assist with include:Creating job postingsCreating social media posts for vacant positionsReviewing applications for minimum qualificationsScheduling interviewsCreating confirmation lettersProcessing new hiresScheduling new hire onboarding and orientationHelp with new hire orientation and onboarding sessionsCreating team member badgesPolicy review and updatesCreating internal communication articlesAssigning and assisting with internal training sessionsMaintaining team members electronic filesMonitoring and completing open tasks on team member checklistsThis internship will give the HR intern hands-on experience relevant to talent management, learning and development, employee relations, organizational policies, employee records management, maintaining work culture, onboarding, compliance, employee development, and wellbeing.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.Must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program majoring in Human Resources or Business Administration at a sophomore level or above.Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
