Hiring Range: $50,418 - $63,026If unable to find qualified candidates, the hiring authority will consider an underfill as a Bank Operations II. The hiring range for level two is $43,997 - $54,996The Bank of North Dakota (BND) is seeking a Bank Operations Specialist III to join our team! The Bank was established to promote agriculture, commerce, and industry in the State. Its loan programs work in conjunction with private financial institutions to finance economic development throughout the State. It is the legal depository for all state funds unless provided otherwise by law. The Bank also serves as a central clearing agency and provides many other services to North Dakota banks and other financial institutions. This position will be responsible for the following:Wire Transfers: Balance general ledger accounts.Take calls and key wires from customers. Perform call backs and verify outgoing wires. Complete customer research.Wire system maintenance for users.Print reports, export files and shut-down wire system. Import OFAC file when updated.Import ABA number file when updated.Participate in the annual disaster recovery testing.ACH: Process and balance ACH files submitted to Pep+. Complete ACH non-posts in Premier.Perform callbacks on ACH transmittals.Complete customer research.Perform Annual ACH Risk analysis.Perform ACH Returns and NOCs for respondent banks. Balance general ledger accounts. Distribute ACH rejects to the appropriate originator. Calculate and input account analysis. Complete daily customer maintenance.Participate in the annual disaster recovery testing.Study and take ACH Accredited Professional (AAP) Certification.Prepare documentation for annual ACH audit.BND Direct: Perform customer and user setup, maintenance and assign permissions. Execute scheduled events for ACH file creations.Participate in the annual disaster recovery testing.Miscellaneous: Assist with testing and training when system upgrades occur. Rollout new products, assist by learning, testing and training.When system outages occur, trouble shoot with NDIT and vendors.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires graduation from high school or a GED and four years of work experience involving bookkeeping, bank cashiering, or office support duties that require knowledge and use of a variety of complex office equipment and include complex document processing duties such as preparing documents for scanning and indexing; cataloging, sorting, etc. The hiring authority may substitute accredited accounting or banking course work for the required work experience if it provided the knowledge and skills required to perform the core competencies of the position to be filled. For an underfill the minimum qualifications for education are the same and require three years of work experience.
