Starting Salary: $6,067Addiction Counselor II - Requires a bachelor's degree in Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling or Psychology, Licensure as an Addiction Counselor (LAC) by the ND Board of Addition Counseling Examiners, and two years of experience as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. A master's degree in one of the majors listed above will substitute for one year of experience. Only professional-level addiction counselor experience in a private or public facility is qualifying and given credit. Starting Salary: $6,203.

HHS Developmental Disabilities Department - Devils Lake/Rolla area - DD Program Manager As a Developmental Disabilities Program Manager, you will provide Program Management and service coordination for all available Developmental Disability services for eligible individuals. This position will work with infants, children and adults. The services provided assist individuals in gaining skills needed to live and work more independently in the community. Position responsibilities include identify, assess, and collect data, complete case plan and Individual Service Plan process, assist individuals in accessing available funding/support services, coordinate/monitor the provision of developmental disabilities funded services and maintain client records. The hours for this position are typically daytime hours during the week, however, flexibility is required to meet the needs of individuals. To be considered for this position, you must have one year of experience as a DD Program Manager I in the ND Department of Health & Human Services or meet the following definition of a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP): "A person who has at least one year of direct care experience working with persons with a mental illness or a developmental disability; AND has a bachelor's or master's degree in one of the following fields: social work, psychology, counseling (including addiction counseling), nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental disabilities, child development and family science, communication disorders (includes audiologist or speech pathology), severely multiply handicapped, special education, vocational rehabilitation, sociology, elementary education, recreation therapy, human resource management (human services track), or is a doctor of medicine. (Certification or licensure in one of the above fields is not required for a QDDP designation)." You must hold a valid driver's license and be able to drive to carry out the job duties of this position.BOTH paraprofessional and professional level experience working with special population groups in a direct service capacity are given credit. Location: ND DHHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position is home-based meaning the person will work from their home and will require travel throughout the Rolette County area. An office location is available to utilize between visits and meetings in Rolla.
