An adjunct CDE teacher ensures high-quality virtual learning for students through online coaching, utilizing a variety of methods to assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback that fosters student growth in course outcomes and state standards. CDE teachers regularly communicate with students, parents/guardians, and learning coaches to ensure students have comprehensive support; focus on academic integrity to maintain the quality of curriculum and instruction; and attend monthly meetings and professional development to grow professionally as an online teacher.Responsibilities will include:Facilitate online, pre-built courses, providing timely coaching and feedback to students to assist with their academic progress;Implement online accommodations for students with IEPs/504 plans;Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress;Foster academic relationships with teachers, parents, and learning coaches, to ensure a positive learning experience;Maintain curriculum integrity in courses and seek continual improvement in assessing students online.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications at the time of the interview:Bachelor's degreeCurrent ND Educator's Professional Licensure or current out-of-state Educator's Professional License (subject to ND ESPB review).Qualified to teach T&I Construction Technology at the high school level.At least one year of teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates qualified to teach T&I Aviation Technology at the high school level.Experience with competency-based education and teaching online.
